Project Manager (Workforce Management Software)

Responsible For
Providing senior-level specialist professional Workforce Management (WFM) Project Management services to Presence of IT, vendors and external customers.

Reports To
Workforce Management VP of Delivery

WFM Functional and Technical Consultants on your assigned engagements

Main Activities

  • Creates and executes project work plans across multiple WFM projects and revises as appropriate to meeting changing needs and requirements.

  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.

  • Follows defined methodology.

  • Implements engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of projects.

  • Minimizes exposure and risk across multiple projects.

  • Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.

  • Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for all assigned projects.

  • Analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects.

  • Identification of incremental services revenue.

  • Such other duties that may, from time to time, be assigned.

Key Skills / Attributes

  • Specialist project management knowledge in the WFM solution space.

  • Be able to facilitate complex design within the WFM solution space in areas such as integration, time and attendance, demand rostering, budgeting, activities, analytics, workflow, development and/or interfacing.

  • Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of information technology concepts and processes.

  • Good understanding of broad business issues cross at least one industry.

  • Flexible ability to either work within a team or to demonstrate leadership qualities to less experienced Presence of IT or customer team members.

  • Ability to mentor and develop consultants.

  • Ability to handle and resolve conflict within engagements. Escalations at appropriate times.

  • Keeping abreast of industry changes and keeping project management skills and certifications up to date.

  • A drive for high quality successful delivery along with continuous process improvement.

  • Being able to provide knowledge.

Preferred Skills

  • Qualifications needed include at least 5+ years of experience in business management, IT, systems integration consulting or design with more than 3+ years direct project management experience. Formal project management certification such as PMP preferred.

  • Domestic travel of 25 +/- may be required.

  • International travel is optional.
